Human Resources

Since its establishment in 2007 with a dedicated workforce of 70 employees, Al-Istiqlal University has witnessed consistent and strategic growth aligned with its expanding academic vision and institutional development. Today, the University employs a total of 554 staff members, including 120 academic faculty and 434 administrative and professional staff, in addition to supporting personnel who ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the institution.

Al-Istiqlal University recognizes that its human capital is the cornerstone of its success. Facilities

Al-Istiqlal University was initially established with two main buildings: the Lobby Building, which housed administrative offices and lecture halls, and the Dormitory Building, which provided student accommodation and essential services, including a restaurant.

Today, the University has significantly expanded its infrastructure to include a comprehensive range of academic, administrative, residential, training, and service facilities, including:

Academic Programs

A major milestone in the development of Al-Istiqlal University has been its academic transformation from offering specialized professional diploma programs to providing a comprehensive range of fully accredited undergraduate and graduate programs.

Today, Al-Istiqlal University offers a diverse and well-structured portfolio of academic programs designed to meet national and international academic standards. These include:

  • Twelve Bachelor’s degree programs across multiple academic disciplines.
  • Thirteen Associate (Intermediate) Diploma programs, aimed at developing applied and technical competencies.
  • Twelve Graduate Studies and Scientific Research programs, supporting advanced academic study and research excellence.
  • Fifteen Specialized Professional Diploma programs, delivered through focused and practice-oriented training tracks.
  • One Higher Diploma program in Military Infantry Training.

All academic programs at Al-Istiqlal University are fully accredited by the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education, ensuring high academic quality, rigorous standards, and alignment with regional and international higher education frameworks.
