Monday, the President of Al-Istiqlal University, Dr. Abdel Nasser Qadoumi, welcomed the Director of the Office of the National Center "Interpol Palestine" ,Col. Mahmoud Salah Eddin, during his visit to the campus.
Dr. Qadoumi talked about the latest developments and achievements of the University at the academic and construction levels, and the new specializations that have been added to the bachelor and diploma program.
Dr. Qadoumi announced the University's readiness to grant a Master's Degree (Public Administration) through the Office of the National Center (Interpol Palestine), expressing its readiness to cooperate in the exchange of Palestinian, Arab and international experiences.
For his part, Mahmoud Salah Eddin praised Al-Istiqlal University, its scientific achievements, and its efforts in working at comprehensive Palestinian security establishment. He talked about offering some Jordanian scholarships for IU in the field of postgraduate studies, especially the doctoral program.
He explained the exerted efforts with the Jordanian side in terms of benefiting from the Jordanian experience and training the students of Al-Istiqlal University and the sons of the security establishment. As well as giving the Jordanian students the opportunity to study at Palestinian universities, especially Al-Istiqlal University.
During the meeting, future plans were discussed in a preparation for signing a memorandum of understanding between Al-Istiqlal University and the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, through which future work will be accomplished and further agreements reached.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that the Vice President for Military Affairs, Colonel Salman Taysir Abdullah pays a visit to the office of the National Center to discuss the mechanism of joint cooperation.
