The President of Al-Astiqlal University Professor Dr. Abu Osbaa welcomed the Professor Dr. Waleed Sweileh, the Head of Accreditation and Quality Commission at the Ministry of Education and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs Professor Dr. Muaweya Ibrahim and University president’s assistants with the deans of the colleges, on the 30th of January 2019.
Professor Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa greeted the Accreditation and Quality Commission and thanked their continued support for the Palestinian universities. Also he said “We are ready to receive the comments of the Commission to improve the work performance as it should be”.
Furthermore, Professor Dr. Sweileh praised the efforts of Al-Istiqlal University and its positive and lasting vision. He said that the University of Al-Istiqlal is one of the most prestigious universities in Palestine, which enjoys the Student’s confidence and satisfaction according to its work environment and a questionnaire prepared by the Commission.
Moreover, the delegation of the Accreditation and Quality Commission held a bilateral meeting with a delegation from Al-Istiqlal University to discuss the data required for sending it to the Commission in the coming period, noting that this visit comes as Commission's follow-up of the file classification of Palestinian universities.
Finally, the team work took the guests on a field tour to the University's facilities and faculties to see the continuous development of the campus.
