Al-Istiqlal University represented by the President of its Board of Trustees, HE Maj. Gen. Tawfiq Tirawi and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa, the President of the University, with his deputies and all the staff and students of the University, organizes a solidarity and supportive Stand with the President Mahmoud Abbas, the one who is steadfast against the arrogance of the Israeli Occupation, the American Administration and the conspirators on the legitimacy of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) as a sole representative of the Palestinian people, On Monday 25th of February 2019.
HE Maj. Gen. Tawfiq Tirawi stressed the legitimacy of the Palestinian leadership and foremost of which the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people. He said: "We stand by the President Mahmoud Abbas and support him in facing the recent decision of the occupation in pirating Palestinian people's money, and we will remain loyal to the prisoners and martyrs."
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa sent a loyalty letter for President Mahmoud Abbas saying that "We are with you against all the challenges through the deal of the century and the Israeli piracy on the money of our people", explaining that Al-Istiqlal University, with its staff and students, confirms the decision of the Palestinian leadership and the PLO as the only legitimate representative for the Palestinian people.
In the context, Col. Salman, the Vice President for Military Affairs, stressed the Palestinian constants, headed by the legitimacy which is represented by the President Mahmoud Abbas and his stand in the face of global challenges against our just Palestinian cause.
Moreover, Dr. Rajaa Sweidan, the Vice President for the Administrative Affairs, said that the University of Istiqlal, with all its staff and students, stands today with the President Mahmoud Abbas against the Israeli occupation decisions, stressing that the prisoners and martyrs will remain at the forefront of our Palestinian Cause and its constants.
