The President of the University and his deputies meet with the Deanship of Student Affairs, Admission and Registration

In the framework of the periodic meetings with all the deans and staff at Al- Istiqlal University, Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa met the Deanship of Student Affairs, Admission and Registration, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Muaweya Ibrahim, his deputy for academic affairs, Dr. Rajaa Sweidan, his deputy for the administrative and financial affairs and Col. Salman Taysir Abdullah, his deputy for military affairs, on Wednesday 13th of March 2019.

Prof Dr. Abu Osbaa praised the efforts of the deans and their cadres, especially that their work often comes in exceptional circumstances regarding the admission and registration of the students at the beginning of each academic year, in addition to following up their files until graduation, their joining work in the security establishment and continuing the communication with the Management and Organization institution.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa listened to the comments and suggestions of the staff in both departments with an open discussion held on these issues with his deputies all in his/her specialties. Also he gave his instructions to overcome the obstacles and difficulties, noting the importance of work development and the exploitation of technology internally and externally with the partners.

In turn, Dr. Raja Sweidan, the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, stressed the commitment to the daily working hours and vacations, and the need to comply with the laws to accomplish the expected work of the employees and by using the team spirit.

For his part, Col. Abdullah, the Vice President for Military Affairs, clarified the mechanism of working with the security services during the semester and with regard to students and their careers during the years of study, after graduation, and their integration in the different positions, stressing the importance of the joint work with all colleges, deanships and the departments at the University.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abu Osbaa stressed that Al-Istiqlal University is a national institution and its doors are always open to the different people and institutions, to benefit from the facilities and services, in the joint and non-joint activities, in order to fulfill the requirements of national and community responsibility.
