Al-Istiqlal University held a meeting on the mechanism of admission and registration for the new students which was attended by Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa, the President of the University, with his deputies for the Administrative, Academic and Military Affairs, the Deans of Admissions, Registration and Student Affairs, Maj. Gen. Yousef Dakhlallah, the Chairman of the Organization and Administration Commission, Maj. Gen. Mayson Al-Banna, the Director General of Military and Medical Services and the Brig. Gen. Khalid Al-Sharif, Representative of the Maj. Gen. Yousef Al-Helo, the Head of the Military Training Commission, on Tuesday 19th of March 2019.
Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa welcomed the attendees and stressed the importance of the partnership with all the partners for determining and developing the mechanism of students’ acceptance, hoping to benefit from the previous experiences and working on the needed procedures to facilitate the process for reaching fair and advanced mechanism for the new students at the beginning of each academic year.
For his part, Maj. Gen. Yousef Dakhlallah praised the scientific role of Al-Istiqlal University, pointing the great cooperation with all the partners in accepting the students, calling to benefit from the previous experiences to come up with a clear mechanism for conducting the various tests, its places with assigning the committees members responsibilities.
Brig. Gen. Khalid Al-Sharif discussed the mechanism of conducting the medical examinations, tests and the committees working process in the headquarters of the Commission, noting the comments for finding solutions that contribute to the alleviation of the burden placed on the committees.
In the context, Maj. Gen. Mayson Al-Banna, showed the readiness of the military medical services for the joint cooperation with accepting all the comments. Also she explained the mechanism of the medical committees work, at the headquarters of the Military Training Commission, and discussed with the attendees the process of developing the mechanism in accepting the new students of Al-Istiqlal University.
At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed with, the Admissions, Registration and Student Affairs Department, the mechanisms which will be adopted next year on the tests and admission process by the committees and all the accredited bodies who participated in the meeting.
