Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa, the President of Al-Istiqlal University visited and congratulated Prof. Dr. Marwan Awrtani, the Minister of Education, accompanied by Dr. Rajaa Sweidan, his deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the deans of the Humanities Department, Department of Studies and Scientific Research, Department of Admission and Registration, Scientific Centers, the Intermediate College of security Studies and the Director of Media and Public Relations Department, at the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah, on Tuesday 23th of April 2019.
Prof. Dr. Abu Osbaa expressed his happiness with this visit, saying that the next stage includes great challenges to the educational process, giving a briefing about the nature of the security and academic work of Al-Istiqlal University, besides explaining the importance of the " Day of the Palestinian Flag" initiative and raising it in all the institutions and schools.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Awrtani welcomed the President of Al-Istiqlal University the delegation accompanying him, mentioning that Al-Istiqlal University is a distinguished institution by its security and academic mission, welcoming the University's initiative to revive the activities of the “Day of the Palestinian Flag", expressing his Ministry's readiness to cooperate in all fields.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed many educational, national and heritage issues which support realizing the Palestinian historical message.
