HE Maj. Gen. Dr. Twafiq Al-Tirawi, the President of the Board of Trustees of Al-Istiqlal University, received HE Mr. Assem Salem, the Minister of Transport, in the presence of Col. Salaman Abdallah, the Deputy for Military Affairs, and Dr. Salwa Ramadan, the Dean of Student Affairs, on Sunday 29th of September 2019.
Furthermore, Maj. Gen. Al-Tirawi Welcomed the Minister of Transport and the delegation accompanying him, providing an overview of Al-Istiqlal University and its special educational system at the academic and military levels, which include the Bachelor and the Intermediate Diploma programs.
For his part, the Minister of Transport thanked Maj. Gen. Al-Tirawi for his reception, praising the efforts exerted at the University and the progress achieved in all aspects, wishing success for the University, noting that Al-Istiqlal University will remain majestic institution in all its educational services and activities.
After the meeting, the Minister Salem made a tour inside the campus to get acquainted with the colleges and the facilities of the University.
It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Istiqlal University has bilateral relations with all the Palestinian Ministries, in order to provide all possible joint services which benefit the citizens and the local community.
