Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa, the President of the University, in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs (Counseling and Guidance Department) and in the presence of Dr. Salwa Ramadan, the Dean of Student Affairs, honored the female Workers and Students at Al-Istiqlal University for empowering and strengthening the status of women, on Wednesday 30th of October 2019.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Abu Osbaa and the deans of the faculties made a tour to congratulate the female employees and students on this occasion, which emphasized raising the status of women in society, appreciating their efforts in building the society and the future generation in general and their roles at the University in particular, besides distributing symbolic gifts which delivered effective messages to enhance the confidence of women, and the stability of their role in society, mentioning that “The women are a treasure must be preserved, and without the presence of women next to us in life, whether mother, sister or wife, there will not be any success in our scientific and practical lives”.
It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Istiqlal University represented by HE Maj. Gen. Tawfiq Tirawi, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and its administration always celebrate these events which promote and raise the status of women in society.
