The Academic Deputy opens statistical analysis Course (SPSS)

Prof. Dr. Hamdan Taha, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, opened the Advanced Statistical Analysis Course (SPSS), which is organized by the Center of Measurement and Evaluation at the University, in cooperation with the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, for the educational staff and a number of employees, in the presence of Dr. Nizam Salahat, the dean of the Scientific Centers, Dr. Salwa Ramadan, the Dean of the Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Daher, the Assistant Academic Deputy, and the deans of colleges, in the campus, on Sunday 3rd of November 2019.

Furthermore, the Academic Deputy welcomed the attendees, pointing out the importance of these courses which give the chance to the students to participate in the researches and promoting their skills, mentioning that this course is the first at the University level, and the second provided by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, thanking the people who are in charge of this course and Mr. Mousab Abu Baker, the trainer, from Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), wishing success for all the participants.

Moreover, Mr. Mohammed Assaf, the Director of the Center of Measurement and Evaluation, clarified that this course organized by (28) of training hours to develop the skills of the educational staff and the employees in the fields of scientific research and statistical analysis.

For his part, Mr. Baker, from the (PCBS), stressed the importance of this course in developing the field of quantitative research and raising the quality of the graduation projects which are offered by the students through the educational staff, noting that there was an evaluation test before starting the training.
