Al-Istiqlal University and Military Intelligence discuss cooperation

Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osbaa, the President of Al-Istiqlal University, visited Maj. Gen. Zakaria Musleh, the Director-General of Military Intelligence, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Hamdan Taha, his Deputy for Academic Affairs, Col. Salman Abdallah, his Deputy for Military Affairs, Dr. Rajaa Sweidan, his Deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Salwa Ramadan, the Dean of Student Affairs, Ms. Alaa Al-Shanti, the Director of Media and Public Relations Department, in the city of Ramallah, on Wednesday 13th of November 2019.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Abu Osbaa thanked Maj. Gen. Musleh for the cooperation of the Military Intelligence Service, which is considered as one of the most important security institutions that have common interests with Al-Istiqlal University, pointing out the series of meetings which were held with the Palestinian security institutions in order to develop ways of cooperation continuously, mentioning that Al-Istiqlal University will start to study and establish new specializations at the beginning of next year, where the University is working on developing the program of the intermediate diploma (row officer) and increasing the number of enrolled according to the lack of this rank in the Palestinian Security institutions.

Moreover, Prof. Dr. Abu Osbaa added that Al-Istiqlal University positively receives the constructive criticism, and it is keen to develop all its cadres and students, pointing out the possibility of holding several training courses in the field of Military Intelligence, because the University appreciates the work of security institutions and their constructive role in the development and protection of society.

For his part, Maj. Gen. Musleh clarified the work mechanism of the military intelligence, expressing his happiness in the partnership with Al-Istiqlal University, welcoming to conduct various specialized course by his officers for the students of Al-Istiqlal University to build and create Palestinian leaders capable to lead and protect the society after their graduation.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Istiqlal University is in constant cooperation with the Palestinian Security Institution in all its branches to develop the military and educational process of the University.
