The intermediate diploma program students of “Public Administration and Military Sciences” specialization, visited the headquarters of the Palestinian National Security Forces in Ramallah, accompanied by Col. Khaled Ateeq and Lt. Mohammed Abu Aisha.
The students were received by Brig. Gen. Mahdi Serdah, the Director of the Department of National Security Training, Col. Wahed Qaysi, the Director of the Department of Signal and Wireless, and Maj. Sameh Abu- Al Rob. They gave the students a detailed explanation of the structure, sections, work and the duties of the Department and its regulations, which are used in dealing with emergencies.
The visit comes within the framework of the cooperation program between the University and the National Security Forces, which aims to provide practical field training for the Combined Arms Course and the separation of the Signal Military arm.
As part of the cooperation program between Al-Istiqlal University and the National Security Forces, the students visited Al-Nuweima Military Site of the National Security Forces in Jericho.
Furthermore, the students met with the commander of the camp Maj. Raed Tareq and several officers to have a practical explanation about the “Military Administration – Logistics” Course, where the logistic officer gave full clarification of the types of logistics (supplies, transportation and maintenance, work systems, delivery methods, storage, and material release).
It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Istiqlal University and the leadership of the Palestinian National Security Forces carry out many joint activities to serve the educational and military process and to meet the needs of security institution’s members.
