The Erasmus + Team of Al-Istiqlal University concluded its visit to Mayis University, in the Turkish Republic, in the presence of Ms. Razan Merai, the Representative of the Faculty of Humanities and Ms. Christen Younis, the Representative of the Intermediate College of Security Sciences, within an Academic Exchange Program, which started on the 4th of November 2019 until the 9th of November 2019.
Through the training session, the representatives gave an introduction about the various activities and achievements of Al-Istiqlal University, besides knowing Mayis University and its facilities, especially the department of psychology through attending many lectures to know the system and the technics which are followed in the educational process. Also, they discussed the cooperation through participation in the different initiatives and activities to raise the level and quality of education.
Furthermore, the delegation visited the Psychological Counseling Center to get acquainted with its departments and the mechanism of its work, knowing the Guidance and Psychotherapy technics to help the students in solving their problems.
It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Istiqlal University is always working to develop the skills and the capabilities of its academic staff, and encouraging educational researches with other Universities. At the end of the visit, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participants of the program.
