Al-Istiqlal University in partnership with the Civil Defense Directorate had graduated the Fire Brigade Foundation Course, in the presence of Col. Tayser Abdallah, the Deputy for Military Affairs, Dr. Rajaa Sweidan, the Deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Lt. Col. Said Qandel, the Director of the Search and Rescue Center, inside the campus of the University.
Col. Abdallah thanked Maj. Gen. Yousef Nassar, the Director-General of Civil Defense, and the trainers for their efforts and perseverance in implementing the training course which contribute in promoting the skills of the students in the First Aid field, Extinguishing Fires and dealing with the accidents and injuries, Pointing out to the plan which includes this vital training course for all the students, thanking the students for their commitment and developing their skills in this field away from the military side.
For her part, Dr. Sweidan expressed her happiness with the high level of training and performance which keep pace with the development of the safety measures in the local community.
It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Istiqlal University distributed the graduate students on the various centers of the Palestinian Security Institution to raise their level and experience in the different aspects of life, besides the Military field.
