Al-Istiqlal University opens the "Computer Skills" Course

The Center for Community Service and Continuing Education at Al-Istiqlal University held a Computer Skills course for (23) participants from various local community organizations, at a rate of (30) hours, in the presence of Dr. Rajaa Sweidan, the Deputy for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dr. Nizam Salahat, the Dean of Scientific Centers, and Dr. Hazar Ismail, the Director of the Community Service and Continuing Education Center, inside the campus, on Tuesday 14th of January 2020.

Dr. Sweidan opened the course, thanking the participants for their commitment, stressing the importance of these courses which help in raising the professional and technical levels to meet the needs of the local community, praising the efforts of the Community Service Center in conducting useful sessions, wishing success and achievement for the participants in their scientific and practical life.

For his part, Dr. Salahat pointed out the importance of the course in the economic and professional life of the participants, wishing that the course will be of benefit to participants and adding qualitative skills to their experiences.

Furthermore, Dr. Ismail noted that this course will have new phases in future, besides conducting courses in the fields of Languages, Administration, and an advanced courses in Computer Science, praising these kinds of courses which enable and raise the level of the local community members and make them able to keep pace with the developments.

It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Istiqlal University, based on recommendations of HE Maj. Gen Dr. Tawfiq Al-Tirawi, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, seeks to develop the capabilities and skills of local community members by holding advanced courses in various disciplines to the different Palestinian local groups and organizations.
