Al-Istiqlal University honored the fourth year students who passed the Military Skills courses, in the presence of the deputies of the University for Academic, Military, Administrative and Financial Affairs, Brig. Gen. Mahdi Serdah, the Director of Training in National Security, and several faculty members at the Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan Theater, on Tuesday 14th of January 2020.
Col. Tayser Abdallah, the Deputy for Military Affairs at Al-Istiqlal University, welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness for the efforts of the students and trainers, praising their abilities and skills to assume responsibilities as officers, thanking HE Maj. Gen. Dr. Tawfiq Al-Tirawi for creating this edifice, and achieving the dreams of many students, besides all the people who contributed to the success of this educational security institution, providing advice for the students to be practical in the Palestinian Security Services after their graduation.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hamdan Taha delivered the greetings of Maj. Gen. Al-Tirawi, the President of the Board of Trustees of Al-Istiqlal University, and Prof Dr. Saleh Abu Osba, the President of the University, praising the partnership between the University and the Palestinian Security Institution, appreciating the efforts which provided by the Directorate of Civil Defense and the National Security in conducting training courses for the students, thanking the students for their efforts, patience and endurance.
Furthermore, Brig. Gen. Serdah praised Al-Istiqlal University which brings out qualified officers to work at the Palestinian Security Institution, thanking the faculty members for their interest and reassurance on students during the training courses, wishing success to the University, its staff and students.
At the end of the event, a short film was presented by the University Media Department entitled "Students’ Scenarios in the Course ", in addition to honoring the supervisors of the training course by the staff of Al-Istiqlal University.
