Al-Istiqlal University opens a Course entitled "Teaching Methods" for the Military Lecturers

The Institute of Training and Development, in cooperation with the Center for Measurement and Evaluation at Al-Istiqlal University, opened a course entitled "Teaching Methods" for the military lecturers, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Al-Daher, the Assistant of the Deputy for Academic Affairs at the University, Col. Majdi Serdah, the Dean of the Training and Development Institute, Mr. Mohammed Assaf, the Director of the Center for Measurement and Evaluation, and Dr. Nezam Salahat, the Dean of the Scientific Centers, inside the campus, on Wednesday 29th of January 2020.

Dr. Al-Daher welcomed the attendees, explaining the importance of this training course in improving the quality of education, indicating the ineffectiveness of traditional methods in meeting the needs of the development of the world, mentioning that the modern methods deliver the knowledge and information effectively and promote the level of understanding for the students, wishing success to the course participants.

For his part, Dr. Salahat added that Al-Istiqlal University has a security and military nature, and the goal of the course is related to the nature of its work in the future, indicating the need to focus on the teaching skills, and the means of training and applied education.

It is noteworthy to mention that this course will be provided by Dr. Ali Qashmar, noting that the University seeks to develop its academic and military cadres to raise the level of education and knowledge among the students.
