Al-Istiqlal University concludes the procedural research course in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture

Al-Istiqlal University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, concluded a training course in procedural research, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osba, the President of the University, Dr. Abd Al-Latif Abu Ouda, the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Dr. Salwa Ramadan, the Dean of Student Affairs, Ms. Mayson Salameh, the Director of the Jericho Culture Bureau, on Wednesday 19th of February 2020.

Prof. Dr. Abu Osba welcomed the participants, noting the importance of the procedural research course for the worker and housewife women to confront the different issues in their daily lives, mentioning the necessity to continue conducting the researches after finishing the course, thanking the Ministry of Culture for their cooperation in developing the individuals and the institutions of the local society, wishing success for the participants in their daily life.

For her part, Ms. Salameh thanked the staff of Al-Istiqlal University for their efforts in developing the skills of the local community members in Jericho and Al Aghwar Governorate, expressing her gratitude for the organizers and trainers of the course in dealing with the participants.

Furthermore, Dr. Abu Ouda stressed that Al-Istiqlal University is always working on holding the various activities in the different fields for the local community members, pointing out that the partnership with the Ministry of Culture will be the beginning of a new vision includes more initiatives and activities in the various fields.

At the end of the meeting, the representative of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture gave a model of Mosaic of the Tree of Life to the President of the University, as an appreciation for his efforts, besides giving honorary shields for the Academic team of the University and distributing certificates for the participants of the course, noting that there is a forum will be held in April 2020 as a starting point for the procedural research at Al-Istiqlal University.
