The Center for Community Service and Continuing Education, at Al-Istiqlal University, concluded the "Computer Skills" course for (23) participants from the various institutions of the local community, by (30) hours, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hamdan Taha, the Deputy for Academic Affairs, Dr. Nezam Salahat, the Dean of Scientific Centers, Dr. Khaled Al-Daher, the Assistant of the Academic Deputy, Dr. Hazar Ismail, the Director of the Community Service and Continuing Education Center, and several deans of the various college, inside the campus, on Sunday 23th of February 2020.
Prof. Dr. Taha welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance of this course in developing the skills of the local community members, besides raising their professional and technical levels in using the different tools of the modern world, pointing out the role of the educational institutions in strengthening and promoting the relationship with local community members in the Jericho and Al Aghwar Governorate, thanking the organizers and participants of the course.
For his part, Dr. Salahat mentioned the importance of developing the Palestinian society by empowering its members and raising their scientific capabilities through the different training programs in general and in the field of technology and computer in particular, wishing the success for the participants and to apply and develop what has been gained in their working life.
It is noteworthy to mention that Al-Istiqlal University seeks to develop the capabilities of local community members and to cooperate and communicate with all the categories by holding the advanced courses in various specializations.
