Al-Istiqlal University has the first place in the foundational leadership course

Al-Istiqlal University had the first place in the 16th Foundational Leadership Course which was organized by the Palestinian Ministry of the Interior, under the supervision of the British support team, in the presence of Maj. Gen. Youssef El Helou, the head of the Palestinian Military Training Authority, Mr. Jihad Abu al-Asal, the Governor of Jericho, Col. Khaled Atiq, a Lecturer at Al-Istiqlal University, and several leaders of the Palestinian Security Services from the various governorates on Wednesday 26th of February 2020, at the Central Training Institute in Jericho Governorate.

HE Maj. Gen. Dr. Tawfiq Al-Tirawi, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Istiqlal University, congratulated Lt. Asmaa Kamal Issa, who won first place in the training course, in the presence of Col. Salaman Taysser Abdallah, the Deputy for Military Affairs, expressing his pride for this achievement and wishing her success in the different trainings and events.

It is noteworthy to mention that this course was held for 45 days, with a participation of 53 officers from the different Palestinian Security Services. Also, it includes many topics such as Training, Leadership, Rule of law, Security man's ethics, Communication skills, and Media awareness. These courses come within the plans of the University in developing and promoting the skills of its members through participation in the various activities and events.
