An officer from Al-Istiqlal University completes the "Staff and Unit Command" course in Bangladesh

Captain Issa Jabr Al-Titi from Al-Istiqlal University completed the "Staff and Unit Command" course, which was implemented by the Infantry and Tactical School in Sylhet, Bangladesh.

In this regard, Prof. Dr. Saleh Abu Osba, the President of the University, praised the efforts of the students and officers of Al-Istiqlal University who participated in the scholarships abroad in many qualitative fields, and the importance of simulating regional and international experiences, and the fruitful results that positively reflect on the quality of job and professional performance, in addition to their contribution to highlighting a bright image of their homeland, wishing them to continue on the path of perseverance and giving, and that success and excellence be their permanent ally.

For his part, Brig. Gen. Salman Abdallah, the deputy for military affairs, congratulated Captain Al-Titi for completing the requirements of the course, which aims to provide its participants with the necessary knowledge and practical skills and help them manage operations in modern and highly efficient methods, as well as comprehensive preparation and qualification concerning the field and administrative responsibilities. This will raise the level of the military cadre, and enhance its personal and leadership capabilities.

It is noteworthy to mention that the course lasted for 16 consecutive weeks, and aimed mainly at increasing the efficiency of the affiliates and candidates with the rank of major to lead an infantry battalion. Also, this program included several theoretical and applied themes, most notably, discussing the theories and models, the arts of military writing and analysis, individual tactical exercises, commanding combat units, and carrying out operations (defense, progress, and attack across rivers,..).
