Al-Istiqlal University wins advanced positions in the “Best Research Team in Promoting Integrity and Combating Corruption” competition

Al-Istiqlal University won advanced positions in the "Best Research Team in Promoting Integrity and Combating Corruption" competition, which targeted intermediate and University college students in both parts of the country.

This came during a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Anti-Corruption Authority, to honor the winning students, which was held at the Ministry of Education headquarters in Ramallah.

Furthermore, the two students, Mayar Issa and Rafah Habiba, ranked third, for their research entitled "The Degree of Practicing Governance Procedures in the Ministry of Education from the Point of View of Female Teachers in Hebron Governorate", under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Dabbous, the Director of Al-Istiqlal Center for Strategic Studies.

Moreover, the participant, Dana Fatayer, ranked sixth, for her research "The Role of Information Technology in Combating Corruption and Promoting Integrity", which came under the supervision of Capt. Abdel Karim Khalifa and First Lt Ayat Hoshiya.

The competition aims to enhance the values of integrity and transparency among students, and encourage their involvement in the research field, within topics related to governance and anti-corruption issues, based on certain foundations and qualitative standards.
