Al-Istiqlal University concludes the winter training for fourth-year students

Al-Istiqlal University implemented the winter training for graduate students (males) in nature, in conjunction with holding it for females in Martyr Salah Khalaf Square inside the University campus, for three consecutive days.

The event included Brig. Gen. Salman Abdallah, the Vice President for Military Affairs, Dr. Waleed Khaliliya, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abd Elatif Abu Ouda, the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Lt. Col. Mujahed Yaseen, the Director of the Military Department, and Maj. Imad Younis, the Commander of the Training.

Brig. Gen. Abdallah appreciated the efforts of the training staff, mentioning the importance of the training in providing students with practical skills and the applied aspect that runs in line with the theoretical dimension gained in the classroom in addition to living with field scenarios that contribute to a higher level of fitness and instilling the values of discipline, commitment, and adaptation to all conditions in the Palestinian geography which is characterized by its climate and the diversity of its terrain.

Furthermore, Col. Mohammed Yassin, the Deputy for Jericho Region and the Jordan valley, attended the final scene of the scenario with the participation of the Civil Defense Service, which simulated the control of armed persons and an explosive vehicle. Also, he praised the participants' advanced performance, which qualifies them to join the ranks of the Palestinian security institution, and complete the tasks entrusted to them.

The training included several axes, most notably, how to build the camp and place guard points, command the faction, identify the vehicle inspection mechanism, and respond to the foot gunfight.
