Prof. Dr. Nour Al-Din Abu Al-Rob, the President of Al-Istiqlal University, visited Counselor Issa Abu Sharar, the President of the Supreme Court and the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, accompanied by Dr. Issam Al-Atrash, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Muhammad Shtayyeh, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Islam Al-Bayari, in the presence of the judge Ahmed Weld Ali, the Secretary General of the Supreme Judicial Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abu Al-Rob congratulated Counselor Abu Sharar on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, stressing the importance and role of the Supreme Judicial Council as the protective umbrella and the cornerstone in preserving the independence of the Palestinian judicial authority organization.
Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Abu Al-Rob indicated that Al-Istiqlal University is open to all aspects and forms of cooperation with the Supreme Judicial Council to enrich the Faculty of Law and promote the experiences and skills of the students, confirming that the near future will witness the strengthening of means of partnership, including the participation of students in the moot court which will develop their knowledge and experience.
For his part, Counselor Abu Sharar welcomed the visit of the President of Al-Istiqlal University, stressing the role of Al-Istiqlal University in graduating qualified officers to serve their people and country.
Also, he confirmed the full readiness of the Supreme Judicial Council to provide support and capabilities to enhance cooperation with Al-Istiqlal University to train law students who will be the future men of law in Palestine.
